We have temporarily relocated our office to 6th floor of Lloyd Hall, room#609 (located beside the balcony).

A small staff association (the Banff Centre Support Staff Association) was formed in 1979 to represent all support staff when the Banff Centre gained its independence from the University of
Alberta, in March 1990 that association changed and became ABCSE (Association of Banff Centre Support Employees) and then after meeting and working with CUPE we formally voted and merged and became CUPE local 4318 on Oct 27, 1999.
Our certification entitles us to represent all support staff in any capacity, with over 20 years as a CUPE local we are deeply involved in supporting our members, the community we are proud to live in, support a substantial scholarship and endowment program in the Arts and various social events on campus to help strengthen our campus and community.
