What we do
CUPE Local 4318 is part of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Canada’s largest union with over 800,000 members across Canada, and represents more than 400 employees at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Our members work across hospitality, programs, technical production, artist support, trades, recreation, administration, marketing, security, and many other areas.
Together, we bargain and enforce our Collective Agreement, defend workplace rights, support members when problems arise, and work for safe, fair, and respectful working conditions.
Members elect the Local Executive, participate in meetings and votes, serve as stewards and committee members, and help set the Local’s direction. CUPE 4318 is strongest when members are informed, connected, and involved.
